TP/Woodland Sail Race Results
A wonderfully windy Nokomis for the most recent sail race with the Woodland girls. It was an exciting and FUN get-together. Just another way that teamwork and individual responsibility mesh so well. Soaring Through the Midsummer
Another beautiful day at Towering Pines Camp for boys! Competitions are heating up and so is the weather. It’s that time of the season when the sun really beats down on us mortals. This means several things: proper hydration is key, little challenges seem bigger, and the eagles ride some serious updrafts over the assembly area looking for fish in the lake. First session is underway!
We’ve finally started our activities! As soon as they were dismissed from the morning assembly, the boys ran in all directions to their classes, super excited to get things going. A couple of things stood out today: Josh was Chief of the Day; John caught a 17” small-mouth bass on Clear Lake; Sebastian got up on two skis for the first time and made it around Nokomis; and Michael got the high score at Riflery, a 42 kneeling!
