A wonderfully windy Nokomis for the most recent sail race with the Woodland girls. It was an exciting and FUN get-together. Just another way that teamwork and individual responsibility mesh so well. One of the most popular meals at camp was thoroughly enjoyed by all, evidenced by all the hot dogs wonderfully impaled on the dozens of perfectly whittled sticks. The kids also enjoyed tasty carrots and celery and some yummy brownies for dessert. Another day of pirate spirit and battles!  Intense play and solid teamwork was found throughout the entire afternoon.  However,  after much toil and sacrifice, the Red Pirates narrowly defeated the Blue Pirates to  claim victory on this most competitive of days!  Both sides showed courage and determination, so it was an all-around impressive performance by all of the fearless warriors!  According to reports, the Blue pirates have already begun planning their revenge for the 2014 campaign!!  Until then, Arrrr!!!!!!
