The Strongest Man in the World, The Lovely Green-Haired Girl, and Uncle Sam

Yesterday was the annual TP Fair, so to get us into the right vibe, a “Parade of the 16 Most Interesting People in the World“ was held on Saturday evening.  Ringleaders Justin K and Benji K did indeed find – and hilariously introduce – some fascinating characters for the parade, including:

• The World’s Tallest Couple
  

  The Speed Racer Fairy, a proud TP Original.

• The Fastest Man in the World
• Uncle Sam
• The Slowest Man in the World
• The Strongest Man in the World
• Bruno Mars (who, for reasons unclear, serenaded counselor Colin J.)
• The Best Soccer Player & Worst Tennis Player in the World
• The Girl with Green Hair & the Bearded Lady
• The Speed Racer Fairy ( a TP original!)
• The Ugliest Man in the World*

Just by chance (and isn’t it amazing how often this happens at summer camp?) it was revealed that unwitting spectator Aaron Z. was actually the World’s Ugliest Man!

Aaron, an experienced 10 year TP Man, didn’t even realize he held this new title until CIT Mike P helpfully pointed this out in front of the whole camp.  Way to show initiative Mike, you’ll be a fine counselor.

Congratulations on your new title Aaron.  We’d like to add, “Great Role Model and Superb Counselor” to your list of impressive accomplishments (and this one actually applies.)

We began the last session at TP beginning today, i.e., only 2 more weeks of camp.  Slow down summer!!
