Sporting Their TP Pride

We take sporting TP wear pretty seriously at Towering Pines!!  After all, these boys want to look good after a refreshing soap dip in Lake Nokomis or Clear Lake.

The guys, campers and counselors alike, are all about making their best impression just in case some of those Woodland girls happen to come by for an evening activity or friendly competition.  There are also plenty of opportunities for the boys to show off their TP attire at the annual Red, White & Boom Campfire as well as at both the TP and Woodland Fairs.

We have campers, counselors, staff and alumni who literally come from all over the country as well as different parts of the world.

We meet together in the Northwoods of Wisconsin to share all of those amazing traits that make each of us unique.  However, at the same time we share a commonality of traditions and camp culture that bonds us as a camp family.  It’s truly an amazing scenario that is unlike any other experience, and it’s one in which we are very fortunate to have had available for 74 years!!

On the last day of camp, the countdown begins for the arrival of the first day of the following summer, so it is fun to have a few “milestones” to mark the passing of time along the way.  International t-shirt day in mid-November is definitely one of them (we are closing in on 200 days until camp 2020!).  So, grab your favorite camp gear (t-shirt or other item) on Tuesday, November 12th, take a photo, then post on your favorite social media platform using #camptshirtday!

So why not share the TP love this week with “International Camp T-Shirt Day!!”  Let the world know how much you love camp–especially Towering Pines Camp for Boys.
