Dear New Camper,

Camp Towering Pines is truly a life changing experience. For over 15 summers I made the journey from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas to Eagle River, Wisconsin. I traveled by car, airplane and sometimes even a bus. I have been a camper, a C.I.T. and a counselor. My first experience at Towering Pines was in 2001. I was only seven years old and no idea what I had gotten myself into. I didn’t know where I was, and I had no friends.

However, little did I know that this magic place in northern Wisconsin would change my life forever! Within these 15 summers I discovered some of the greatest friendships I will have for the rest of my life. I have made friends from Milwaukee, Wisconsin all the way to Queretaro City, Mexico.

For the next six weeks you will embark on a journey that will create long lasting memories. You will learn and develop new skills. You will be challenged and achieve new goals.  Let me be the first to welcome you to camp Towering Pines for Boys!  I hope you have a wonderful summer!
