Reunion Rap 2016

We had a FABULOUS turn out for the annual Chicago reunion the weekend before Thanksgiving!  Here is an update about the TP boys who joined us for the afternoon to watch the 2016 camp video, flip through the new scrapbook, relive camp memories, and of course, to eat yummy treats.  If we were not able to connect with you at this event, please feel free to share your news with us for a future post.


Favorite thing about school:

George: reading and art

Leo: art

Giacomo: having new friends

Thomas: recess

Isaac: having a locker and being able to chew gum sometimes

Mitchell: PE class

Calvin: stuff


Favorite thing about school:

Ray: having more options at school as a 7th grader and having access to the gym to play basketball

Bryce: I got into the All Suburban Middle School Band on Trombone

Neil: friends and teachers

Finnegan: my friends

Ben: my friends

Sebastian: sports

Jake: studying for chemistry!

James: French


Activities (outside of school):

George: nerf gun war

Leo: help cook

Giacomo: video games

Thomas: hockey, baseball and golf

Isaac: : football, basketball, hang out with friends

Mitchell: soccer

Calvin: soccer


Ray: playing basketball and hanging out with my friends

Bryce: I had my bar mitzvah in August; I like to play video games and play with my new dogs

Neil: swimming, art, working out

Finnegan: Boy Scouts, cross-country

Ben: tennis, band

Sebastian: gymnastics, cross-country, track

Jake: playing sports with friends

James: hanging out with friends


What is something you learned at TP that you couldn’t learn anywhere else?

George: to be your own self

Leo: riflery

Giacomo: to be awesome!

Thomas: sailing and riflery

Isaac: different board games that I had never even heard of before – I played them and they were fun!

Mitchell: how to shoot a bow

Calvin: archery


Ray: how to properly ride Western

Neil: how to sail

Finnegan: how to shoot a rifle and ride a horse

Ben: how to live with other people

Sebastian: never give up on your dream

Jake: how to take care of kids

James: a sense of community
