Another summer is about to begin!
The white docks reflect on the lake. The sailboats tug at the moorings. A whinny comes from the pasture from a horse who says he’s ready for the trail. In the craft shop, the tables think of the great projects that will happen this year, and the nearby tripper room is full of strong paddles and bright life jackets, all eager for their turn on the first canoe trip. On the canteen deck, a cooler of fresh treats is waiting, overlooking the ski boats gently tap against the water. Further down the Lake Nokomis beach by the Potowatami cabin, the logs are in place for a campfire and an evening of songs and skits. In the dining room, the counselors meet, planning the first night of activities.
