Association Football in the Pines

It’s been almost a year since the last TP/Red Arrow Camp soccer (football) game and the boy’s were in fine form tonight! The 13 years old and under game started a bit after 7pm and had a great turn out of fans!
This is our alumni weekend here at Camp Towering Pines, as many of you know, and there were plenty of old-timers there cheering along with the current generation of TP men. The players must have drawn on the crowd’s energy because they played like champions, every one.
The pines reverberated with the cheers of our boys and they pulled off a 7-3 win against our old rivals at Red Arrow!
We are from Towering Pines, Towering Pines! That’s where the good guys go!
Fun fact: “Soccer” is derivative of “Association Football”, which was abbreviated to “Assoc. Football”!
