Pssst, hey you.  Yes, YOU.

Now that's not something you see every day...

Now that’s not something you see every day…

You’re not fooling anyone you know.  Oh sure, in public you ACT like you’re normal, but we know better.  We know how weird you really are.

And we’re impressed.

You see, at Towering Pines we’re experts on weird.  We know ALL about weird.  In fact, at Towering Pines, Weird = Cool.  The mere fact that we think “cool” can be described as a math equation speaks volumes.

Brain freeze is a common cause of weirdness.

Just how odd are we?  Our most popular evening workshop is the Magic the Card Game.  Other camps have counselors that play guitars at campfire. We have those too, but we also have Ukulele players! Sweet.  A bugle at flag ceremony for reveille and taps?  Nice, traditional, nothing wrong with that.  How about a harmonica?  Only at TP.  Don’t even get me going on “campfire skits with a twist.”

Zombies are weird, in a cool sort of way.

Ah, but here’s the good news: you can only be your own true weird self when you feel safe with the people who surround you.  You have to trust them, knowing they care about you, and that they’ll accept you AND all your quirks.

In other words, you need to be at a place like Towering Pines.  Because, after 68 years of taking care of your sons, we’ve learned a few things about nurturing a culture where boys feel valued.

So here’s another nerdy little equation for you from the shamelessly weird staff & campers at Towering Pines :

Weird = Loved
